Do You Need Dedicated Web Hosting?

Many people new to internet marketing and building websites assume they need a fully dedicated server to run their websites. In reality there are many better and more cost effective ways to run a small personal or business website.
One of those ways is through shared hosting. You will be put on a server with other people and will share the hard drive space and resources including RAM and bandwidth.
The other option is to use free web hosting. Free web hosting is similar to shared hosting but you don’t pay anything.
To really know when you need dedicated web hosting you need to look at the hard drive space you’re using, how much bandwidth you need and what type of apps and scripts you run on the server.
If your shared host told you it’s time to upgrade, they probably know best!
